Ministry of Economy and Innovation

Martin Kajo is Deputy Minister of Economy and Innovation, with extensive professional experience in economic policy-making, innovation, digital transformation and strategic project management in public administration.

Prior to his appointment as Deputy Minister, Mr. Kajo served as Director of the Cabinet at the Ministry of State for Entrepreneurship and Business Climate and at the Ministry of Finance and Economy. He also headed the Project Management Office for the establishment of the Albanian Development Bank, playing a key role in coordinating complex inter-institutional initiatives of national strategic importance.

In addition to his engagement in the public sector, Mr. Kajo brings considerable experience in the private sector, particularly in the operational and financial management of enterprises, contributing with a results-oriented and efficiency-oriented approach to the design and implementation of public policies.

Mr. Kajo graduated in commercial law from the University of Milan and holds the title of Lawyer. He is fluent in Albanian, English and Italian.
