Project: Trade and Transport Facilitation Project (TTFP 2.0 – Albania)

1. Introduction

The Ministry of Economy and Innovation, hereby informs the public and all interested stakeholders on the disclosure of key environmental and social documents under the Trade and Transport Facilitation Project 2.0 (TTFP 2.0), financed by the World Bank.
The Trade and Transport Facilitation Project (TTFP 2.0) is a strategic World Bank–financed initiative aimed at enhancing trade efficiency and transport connectivity across the Western Balkans. In Albania, the Project supports modernization of border crossing infrastructure and deployment of digital systems to reduce delays, streamline procedures, and strengthen institutional coordination. By improving the performance of key trade corridors, the Project contributes to increased economic competitiveness and regional integration. It is implemented in full alignment with the World Bank Environmental and Social Framework, ensuring sustainable, transparent, and inclusive outcomes.

3. Objective of the Consultation

The consultation process aims to:

  • Inform stakeholders about the Project and its impacts
  • Collect feedback and suggestions
  • Improve Project documentation based on stakeholder input

4. Consultation Period

The consultation period will last 20 working days from the date of publication, in accordance with Law No. 146/2014 “On Public Notification and Consultation”.

5. Grievance Mechanism

A Grievance Mechanism (GM) is established to receive complaints, questions, and feedback.
